1st Silicon is a dedicated semiconductor foundry founded in 1998 by the Malaysian State of Sarawak .
1st Silicon's 200mm wafer fab has a capacity in excess of 45,000 wafers per month when fully ramped. The Company offers volume production of digital and mixed-signal CMOS technologies in 0.25 µm and 0.18 µm processes.

Qualcore has met 1st Silicon’s requirements for 1st Silicon’s Authorized Design Center Program, in addition qualifying Qualcore’s IP on 1st Silicon’s silicon processes.

SMIC is one of the leading semiconductor foundries in the world, which provides integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing at 0.35-micron to 0.13-micron technologies.
