Board Design Engineer (Code: IN150)
Qualification:
B.Tech /B.E in Electronics, M.Tech /M.E in Electronics
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience
Key Skills:
Orcad, Allegro, Analog & Digital circuit design.
Responsibilities:
Design Test boards for test chips
Design small circuits (on board) to characterize the IPs in the test chip
Design hardware with FPGA and interface the same with external digital logic circuits/interfaces
Requirements:
Schematic design and capture using ORCAD (Symbol creation, DRC checks, Netlist generation, BOM generation).
PCB layout using Allegro
BOM preparation and component ordering process
Digital and Analog schematic design concepts
Knowledge of digital interfaces - I2C, SPI, SSTL, LVDS, UART, USB
Knowledge / Experience of FPGA (Xilinx) hardware design and interfacing with other digital logic at different voltage levels
Good experience in preparing and maintaining technical documents related to integrated circuit design and test
Knowledge in Power supply circuit design
Knowledge of designing Test boards for test chips. This includes knowledge of adding test points wherever required and designing small circuits (on board) to characterize the IPs in the test chip
